Group one did their presentation about why our elections matter in our democracy with the subcategory Education and Healthcare. They began their agenda describing who will do what in the presentation. They made very good points and they created an extremely well put together presentation. Each person did a great addition to the other as they bounced off of their topics. The first group was the last one to present so I am sure they used that to their advantage. They were very well spoken as well as group two. Everyone communicated extremely well with one another as they described what healthcare was, showed the types of healthcare, described a healthcare professionals point of view. They then continued to speak on the healthcare system and how they could improve and how it should be easily accessible to everyone and not only taxpayers. They described the types of education including public, charter and private. They also show how the government can directly affect education with grants, scholarships, work-study jobs and loans. They spoke on the division between low and high income areas of education and healthcare. They showed a political cartoon and the effects of growing up in an impoverished area and how poverty affects your future and high income areas. Last but not least they describe how voting affects day to day lives with healthcare and education and why every vote counts. The Florida school board politics and how voting affects it. They then describe teachers opinions and ensuring quality within healthcare. Their presentation was very nice to look at and helped make me understand their point of view with great detail. Overall I believe group one did an amazing job in their presentation.
The two group leaders did a great job giving an overview on their opinions and very very informative on how they described the ideas. In conclusion, The group projects gave this project their best shot and gave everyone a great learning experience. Everyone presented properly and did their best to this project. Mrs. Sinkoff was a great listener and gave every person who presented feedback. I enjoyed how Professor Sinkoff has been switching the order in which the groups present their projects.
Really well written reflection!
